Audit maintains strong relationships with organization executives and industry regulators. This business collaborates with lines of business throughout the organization to implement sound business practices and controls, in compliance with regulatory requirements. Audit continuously monitors and recalibrates our process to assist the organization, and sustain high quality products and services.

Consumer Banking
Consumer Banking is one of the largest in the U.S., providing over 9 million customers a full range of retail banking products and services at more than 1,200 convenient locations from Maine to Florida.
Consumer Banking offers internship opportunities in the following groups:
- Business Management & Governance (BMG): The Business Management & Governance group coordinates end-to-end oversight of the Consumer Bank. The group’s responsibilities include risk assessment, control design, monitoring, and exam management.
- Residential Lending: TD’s Residential Lending group is made up of two main product areas: Mortgage and Home Equity. This internship will be in the group’s Capital Markets function, which develops strategies for buying and selling loans in secondary markets.
- Consumer Deposit Products & Payments (CDPP): The Consumer Deposit Products & Payments team focuses on designing and managing TD’s checking, savings, CD, and money market products, as well as advancing the bank’s payments capabilities.
- Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending (CCUL): Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending is made up of three lines of business: U.S. Bankcard, which manages the bank’s branded credit cards; TD Retail Card Services, which provides sales financing to retailers like Samsung and Ethan Allen; and Partnership Programs, which offers credit card programs for strategic partners like Target and Nordstrom.
- US Cards Infrastructure: US Cards Infrastructure is working towards enhancing their existing credit card businesses while prioritizing an improved TD credit card customer experience. This line of business leverages customer insights and responds to innovations and industry trends to deliver the award-winning customer experience for which TD is celebrated.

Corporate & Specialty Banking (CSB) focuses on managing larger, more complex and diverse clients across our geographical footprint.
CSB offers internship opportunities in the following groups:
- Corporate Banking: provides lending and other products/services to mid-to-large Corporate clients with $500MM and above in revenue. Clients span the TD footprint as well as nationally within select industry verticals which include Utilities, Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Packaging, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Media & Telecom, Professional Services, and National Retail.
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE): focuses on high quality, top tier, and well-capitalized developers, professional managers, and owner/operators of investment real estate. Specific core asset classes include: Multi-Family, Office, Retail, and Industrial properties.
- Healthcare: comprised of specialized experienced Bankers, dedicated exclusively to meeting the unique needs of healthcare organizations, providing lending products to hospitals and other large healthcare entities. The team focuses on “provider based” institutional clients including hospitals, senior housing and select larger physician practices, health insurers and surgery centers.
- Asset Based Lending (ABL): provides senior secured Revolving Lines of Credit and Term Loans to large corporate and middle market companies that are typically non-investment grade. ABL offers clients a flexible cost-effective financing solution by leveraging assets and maximizing liquidity.
- TD Equipment Finance: provides specialized leasing solutions to a broad range of clients desiring tailored Lease transactions. Clients include school districts, municipalities, equipment vendors, agencies of the Federal Government and corporate clients.
- Strategy, Data & Reporting (SDR): is part of the Operational Excellence team. It focuses on strategy development, drive strategic initiatives, develop business cases and create ad hoc analysis to solve business problems for all the units inside CSB (Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Health Care, Asset Based Lending, Equipment Finance and Global Trade Finance), working together with partners across TD Bank Group to drive results. SDR developed and maintains monthly and ad hoc portfolio reports and prepares Board of Directors presentations.

TD’s Digital Channels business focuses on creating legendary experiences for TD’s 8 million Customers, who manage their finances and banking needs through digital means. Shared Services delivers operations, processing, regulatory and strategic support to TD’s businesses.

TD Auto Finance (TDAF) provides financing for over 1.4 million loan customers and over 7,000 franchised dealerships across the US. They provide indirect retail financing to competitive programs offered to customers through their dealer network, commercial financing for dealership’s inventory of new and used vehicles, and remarking services to auction for excess dealer inventory.
