The TD Bank Risk Associate Program is a two-year rotational program designed to attract, develop and retain top talent and build a leadership pipeline within our Risk organization. The associate will work closely with industry professionals to learn, understand and apply TD’s Risk Appetite Framework, while gaining knowledge and experience across various departments.
There are two different tracks for this program:
Non-Quantitative Track
Candidates will focus on the operationalization of frameworks and programs, as well as special projects, within different areas of the Bank including:
- Risk Management and Control
- Loan Review & Control Process Group
- Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance
- Office of the Chief Data Officer
Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree, or at least two years of related experience, in fields such as Risk, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or Accounting
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
Quantitative Track
Candidates will focus on development, documentation, testing and validation of models across different areas of the Bank including:
- Model Risk Management/Model Validation
- Model Development (Credit Risk Management)
- Treasury Balance Sheet Management
- Finance Stress Testing, Scorecards
- Audit
Qualifications
- Master’s degree, or at least two years of related experience, in Mathematics, Mathematical/Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Actuarial Studies
- Proficiency in one or more the following applications is expected: SAS, Python, R
