Agile Coaches
have the biggest impact
on people's mindsets and behaviors.
Being an Agile Coach,
there are many tenants to the role.
We play the part as mentor, consultants, teachers, advisors,
or facilitators.
TD is a great place to work
as an Agile Coach because we're looking
at a large transformation and I believe
that it's a great opportunity
for new and also experienced Agile Coaches
that they can actually learn.
They can also polish their skills
to grow in their career.
What motivates me is knowing
that I'm supported by a great group
of talented individuals. Also,
I'm supported by great leaders
who are open to hearing my perspectives
and my opinions and are always
willing to give constructive feedback
for my own professional growth.
You also have great opportunity
to shadow other coaches,
and this is where we keep growing
and getting better in our career.
There are various resources
available for you here at TD.
You may prefer self-directed learning,
via TD Thrive, or the learning pathways.
There are also opportunities
where you're able to learn from others
through various communities of interest,
through job shadowing
and even mentorship programs.
The most rewarding aspect of this job
is basically seeing
how your ideas are coming together
and you actually get people coming back
and saying, I was not
seeing the picture, but now I get it,
and now I'm actually happy
that you're part of my team.
Just seeing that TD
appreciates in your inbox gives you
that great feeling of self-actualization,
and that keeps me motivated
and keeps me going.
TD is supportive.
It's inclusive and diverse.
It's dynamic
and it's absolutely rewarding.

Hear from Our Colleagues
I have been working for TD for over 7 years and from the day I joined I've been given the opportunity to nurture my professional career development by finding a role in the company that suits my career interests and abilities. Starting as a Project Analyst and the moving to Portfolio Analyst and then Project Manager, there were lots of opportunities for me to work on different projects with variety of business/technology aspects. My recent transition from Project Manager to Scrum Master has given me a set of new and exciting responsibilities and challenges which inspire me to develop and learn new skills, abilities, and new way of working. I am proud to be part of the TD family as they have been providing amazing support to my career progression.
After working for almost 25 years in the manufacturing industry, I recently joined TD as a Scrum Master. From day one, I have found the culture at TD to be very supportive and inclusive. For example, the Scrum Masters have a peer network to share their practice with each other so that we can learn and improve together. I am excited to work with the great people in my pods everyday as we continue the Agile@Scale journey.
The TD reputation as a caring institution committed to employees' continuous self-improvement was my main attraction. Additionally, the competitive benefits and attractive training package aimed at developing appropriate skill sets and helping to achieve work-life balance was another major attraction for me.
The engagement process from start to finish with HR was timely, helping me to make choice. From the telephone interview to interviewing with the hiring managers - all stages were goal oriented. TD is a great place to work especially if you are interested in self-development, career progression and working in a collaborative environment contributing to the continuous growth of a great financial Institution.
