Commercial Banking Associate Program
Learn the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial analysis, risk management, and industry analysis, working closely with a variety of mid-market businesses. Put your business skills to the test, creating proposals based on diverse credit, deposit, and cash management needs of your clients, as they strive to successfully meet their individual and financial goals.

How You Will Contribute:
- Work with assigned mentors to learn key functions within the Commercial Banking Centre.
- Support account manager with structuring credit deals and portfolio risk analysis.
- Develop strong relationship management skills, understanding client needs and business development objectives.
- Learn TD’s best practices for business development and prospecting Commercial Banking clients.

- You have recently completed or are completing a graduate degree in business or you have another degree combined with work experience (i.e. finance/accounting).

Data & Analytics Associate Program
The Data & Analytics Associate Program is a 12-month enhanced development opportunity. An associate may provide subject matter expertise and create a broad range of data-driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out complex models; identify opportunities to drive business growth and value; design and develop complex reports, dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; and ensure alignment of metrics across the organization. As an associate, you would fall into one of the three groups below.

How You Will Contribute:
DATA SCIENCE/ADVANCED ANALYTICS
Provide subject matter expertise and create a broad range of data-driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out complex models.
BUSINESS INSIGHTS & ANALYTICS
Responsible for providing subject matter expertise, analytics, and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolve complex business problems. Identify opportunities to drive business growth and value.
DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING
Responsible for the design and development of complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support business needs and ensure alignment of metrics across the organization. Participating in projects by analyzing approaches, processes, and tools to support the business data strategy. Responsible for improving the trust in our data through the management of integration, availability, usability, quality, integrity, and the security of the Bank’s data.
DATA ENGINEER
Responsible for designing, prototyping, developing and implementing complex business information management (BIM) data frameworks such as data pipelines, data models and ETL development. Engaged in business acceptance testing of the BIM frameworks and visualizations to ensure data integrity and validation to the business requirements.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing a graduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, and/or data analytics or a related discipline. (Specific timing of graduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.).
- You have at least two years of professional experience which can include work terms during your completion of studies.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills, as well as a passion for analytics, are necessary.
- You have experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs.
Graduate Leadership Associate Program
Graduate Leadership Program (GLP) Managers will be offered great project work across dynamic areas such as Digital & Phone Channels, Advanced Analytics, Innovative Automation, Product Management, Retail & Commercial Banking, Wealth, TD Insurance, Marketing, and more. Upon program completion, GLP Managers build their careers in emerging areas across the Bank where their interests and capabilities can be best leveraged for organizational impact.

- Help reimagine the banking experience and drive engagement across our digital and physical platforms.
- Translate complex technical ideas into simplified, impactful business solutions.
- Enhance relationship management and influential communication skills while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned to our shared commitments and three levels of leadership: Lead Self, Lead Others, and Lead TD.
- Develop critical leadership experiences in the areas of strategy development, delivery and execution, change transformation, risk and governance, and financial results.
Qualifications:
- You have (within the past five years) completed or are completing a MBA degree combined with a technically focused undergraduate degree (i.e. engineering, computer science, data science, math, etc.) or a technically focused master’s degree (i.e. analytics, innovation, digital area, etc.) combined with a business undergraduate degree.
- You have a minimum of five years of professional work experience (including Canadian, US and/or international experience) .
HR Leadership Associate Program
Gain knowledge and experience in several HR areas, enabling you to build on your consulting, talent management, and analytical skills, as well as build business insight and leadership capabilities.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations

How You Will Contribute:
- While having access to mentorship, excellent leaders and experts in various domains, you will work independently with minimal supervision, establish priorities, and use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each assigned project.
- You’ll also define opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within an assigned area of responsibility.
Qualifications:

- You have excellent relationship management skills.
- You have three to five years of professional experience; experience in one or more human resources domains is an asset.

Marketing Graduate Leadership Associate Program

Quantitative Risk Associate Program

Assist in the development and testing of new risk modelling methodologies, and effectively challenge these models through benchmark modelling, model validation, and/or review collaborating within Internal Audit’s model risk division. Associates will also liaise with key business partners to ensure timely delivery of new risk models and resolve modelling issues as they arise.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations

How You Will Contribute:
- Effectively build mathematical and statistical models for TD’s North American profile (both U.S. and Canada). These models include credit risk (e.g. Probability of Default, Exposure at Default, and Loss Given Default) and operational risk and market risk models that are used for risk management, accounting, and economic/regulatory capital and stress testing purposes.
- Assist in the development and testing of new modelling methodologies, and effectively challenge these models through benchmark modelling, model validation and/or review within Internal Audit’s model risk division.
- Liaise with other business partners to ensure timely delivery of new models and resolve modelling issues.

Risk Management Associate Program
Associates can anticipate the opportunity to gain a breadth of knowledge on the Risks we take at TD through completing four unique 6-month rotations, in the areas of the three lines of defence, operational risk, and enterprise risk and support various lines of business as a risk management subject matter expert. You will be challenged to stay current on global risk trends/regulations and continually identify issues and solutions to best manage risks across our organization.

- Develop strong relationships to help identify collaborative opportunities and coordinate efforts with other risk groups.
- Work directly with the manager of your current business rotation and risk business groups to continually identify issues and enhance processes across the organization.

- Identify potential problems requiring attention and recommend appropriate actions to best manage the risks in varying situations.
Qualifications:

TD Asset Management Associate Program
This program provides on-the-job training through rotations in various departments within TDAM and involves assignments in key departments such as risk management, business strategies, product management, research, trading, and distribution. You’ll complete complex financial analyses on client portfolios, companies, and industries and analyze quantitative models, trading strategies while learning aspects of the portfolio management, trading, and settlement process.

- Provide a range of research, analytical, advisory and/or operational process support to businesses/internal team members.
- Connect with senior management, gaining valuable experience while developing leadership skills. (Associates will be assigned a mentor throughout the two-year program.)

- Interact with other associates to share learning and network within the organization.
Qualifications:

Treasury Balance Sheet Management Associate Program
The Treasury Associate Program begins with comprehensive training delivered by both Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) subject-matter experts and external presenters to provide associates with a solid foundation of key TBSM risk concepts and practices. Training is followed by four 6-month rotations, which could include the following areas:
- Market Risk Measurement & Analytics: Measure, manage, and hedge the interest rate, foreign exchange, and equity risk associated with non-trading products on TD’s $1.2 T balance sheet.
- Funds Transfer Pricing: Ensure that all non-trading products and businesses are measured on a fully hedged and liquidity premium adjusted basis to accurately reflect the economic profit.
- Investment Portfolio Management: Execution of hedging and investment portfolio management in support of the Bank’s asset and liability management strategies.
- Enterprise Capital Management: Establish a management framework for the efficient and prudent management of TD’s capital position while optimizing shareholder’s return on capital.
- Wholesale Funding: execute and manage term funding transactions and programs for TD Bank Group, including senior unsecured debt, covered bond, and secured funding through ABS and MBS channels.
- Liquidity Risk Management: measure and manage changes in TD Bank Group’s cash flows, collateral pledging requirements, and funding needs to ensure adequate liquidity level while minimizing funding costs.

How You Will Contribute:
- Develop detailed, accurate, and timely financial reporting and forecasts supported by insightful commentary.
- Identify/implement process improvements to automate, streamline and increase the accuracy of analysis and decisions.
- Represent Treasury on strategic cross-functional/cross product working groups, projects and forums.
- Work with key business partners on hedging, new product offerings, pricing decisions, etc.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing a graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data, etc.) or a Master of Business Administration degree.
