Our graduates participate in an enterprise-wide program designed to propel careers forward. This program offers an orientation to all of TD, an onboarding curriculum, continuous mentorship, rotational training (where applicable), on-the-job experience with core activities at the Bank, as well as continuous leadership development.

Canadian Credit Card Associate Program
Provide specialized analytics, insights, and research, while executing strategic projects and business driven initiatives. Graduate from the program with a strong understanding of the credit cards industry and the foundation you need to drive for efficiencies and process improvements and ultimately, build a successful career. Recruitment reoccurs every two years in September.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations
Start Date: July
How You Will Contribute:
- Work on customer collateral to understand and improve communications with customers.
- Direct involvement in strategy development and execution of a national campaign.
- Build an understanding of account management value propositions.
- Directly contribute to project work from a partner perspective.
Qualifications:

Commerical Banking Associate Program
Learn the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial analysis, risk management, and industry analysis, working closely with a variety of mid-market businesses. Put your business skills to the test, creating proposals based on diverse credit, deposit, and cash management needs of your clients, as they strive to successfully meet their individual and financial goals.

Start Date: Throughout the year
How You Will Contribute:
- Work with assigned mentors to learn key functions within the Commercial Banking Centre.
- Support account manager with structuring credit deals and portfolio risk analysis.
- Develop strong relationship management skills, understanding client needs and business development objectives.
- Learn TD’s best practices for business development and prospecting Commercial Banking clients.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree in business or you have another degree combined with work experience (i.e. finance/accounting).
- You’re a well-rounded person who works well independently and as part of a team.
- You have a strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
Compliance & Global Anti-Money Laundering Associate Program
Provide a range of research, analytical, advisory, and operational process support to businesses and team members. Additional responsibilities will require you to conduct ongoing monitoring and testing, and mitigating risk to ensure the Bank remains compliant.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations
Start Date: July
How You Will Contribute:
- Provide a range of research, analytical, advisory, and/or operational process support to businesses/team members on anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and compliance matters and related program risks and issues.
- Connect with senior management, gaining valuable experience while developing leadership skills. (Associates will be assigned a mentor throughout the two-year program.)
- Use your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to add value to each assigned project.
- Interact with other associates to share learning and network within the organization.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree in a business-related field. (Specific timing of undergraduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.)
- You’re an independent thinker who takes initiative to capitalize on opportunities or minimize problems.
- You’re experienced with using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Tableau, PowerPoint, Power Pivot.
- You have strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; can see the “big picture” in a complex or ambiguous environment.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Pre-Approved Associate Program
This program is ideal for those who are looking to obtain the CPA designation for the purpose of becoming an internal auditor.
Each CPA associate will have an opportunity to rotate through various internal audit teams and finance functions to develop CPA competencies, expand their network, and gain an understanding of teams within TD Finance.
The CPA Pre-Approved Audit Associate Program is a 30-month program that consists of three rotations as follows:
Internal Audit (two 9-month rotations on two different internal audit teams)
- See the Bank from the “third line of defense” perspective and deliver high-quality assurance services to our diverse internal audit clients.
- Internal audit groups could include Finance Audit, Canadian Banking, TD Wealth Audit, TD Securities Audit, Credit Risk Audit, and IT Audit.
Chief Accountant’s Group or Finance (one 12-month rotation)
- In the Chief Accountant’s Group, you’ll gain exposure to the world of financial reporting and implementation of accounting policies in the organization.
- In Finance, you’ll gain experience in planning, budgeting, and forecasting in our TD Wealth finance team.
Rotations: Two 9-month rotations and one 12-month rotation

How You Will Contribute:
- Apply audit, accounting, and finance principles to perform internal audit engagements, research, and implementation projects for chief accountants or complete finance duties.
- Define opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within assigned area of responsibility.
- Use your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to add value to each assignment and/or assigned engagement.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree with all required courses for entry into the CPA PEP program. (Specific timing of undergraduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.)
- You meet the CPA PEP entry grade requirements as outlined by CPA Ontario.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative; can see the “big picture” in a complex environment.
- You have demonstrated leadership through volunteer activities and community involvement.
Data & Analytics Associate Program
The Data & Analytics Associate Program is a 12-month enhanced development opportunity. An associate may provide subject matter expertise and create a broad range of data-driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out complex models; identify opportunities to drive business growth and value; design and develop complex reports, dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; and ensure alignment of metrics across the organization. As an associate, you would fall into one of the three groups below.

How You Will Contribute:
DATA SCIENCE/ADVANCED ANALYTICS
Provide subject matter expertise and create a broad range of data-driven solutions by applying a variety of techniques to build out complex models.
BUSINESS INSIGHTS & ANALYTICS
Responsible for providing subject matter expertise, analytics, and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolve complex business problems. Identify opportunities to drive business growth and value.
DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING
Responsible for the design and development of complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support business needs and ensure alignment of metrics across the organization. Participating in projects by analyzing approaches, processes, and tools to support the business data strategy. Responsible for improving the trust in our data through the management of integration, availability, usability, quality, integrity, and the security of the Bank’s data.
DATA ENGINEER
Responsible for designing, prototyping, developing and implementing complex business information management (BIM) data frameworks such as data pipelines, data models and ETL development. Engaged in business acceptance testing of the BIM frameworks and visualizations to ensure data integrity and validation to the business requirements.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, and/or data analytics or a related discipline. (Specific timing of undergraduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.)
- You have at least two years of professional experience which can include work terms during your completion of studies.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills, as well as a passion for analytics, are necessary.
- You have experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights and inferences, and communicating outputs.
Digital & Payments Associate Program
Leverage your digital and online experience to provide proactive solutions in a professional business environment, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Remain current with leading-edge digital technologies and trends, supporting the fulfillment of product strategies and development. Recruitment reoccurs every two years in September.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations

Finance & Accounting Associate Program
This program is ideal for those looking to be a generalist in a finance and accounting function. The focus is primarily on financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and project assignments, which provide an opportunity for growth, mobility, and a deep understanding of the finance and accounting discipline throughout TD.
Complete four customized 6-month rotations within TD Finance corporate groups, which can include:
- Accounting Policy and Advisory
- Business Finance Reporting (Wealth, Wholesale, TD Canada Trust, TD Insurance, Business Banking, etc.)
- Corporate Finance Reporting (Technology, Digital Channels, Marketing, Enterprise Real Estate, etc.)
- North American Management Reporting
- Financial & Regulatory Reporting
- Data Governance and Analytics
- Finance Innovation and Technology
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations
Start Date: September
How You Will Contribute:
- Use your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to add value to each assigned rotation.
- Interact with and act as a peer advisor to other associates to share learnings and experiences and to build networks within the organization.
- Apply accounting and finance principles to prepare ad hoc analyses, forecasts, and business cases in support of business initiatives and in-depth research projects.
- Participate in transformation and innovation activities to ensure Finance efficiently leverages data and technology to drive better sustainable business value.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree with a focus in finance, accounting, analytics, or data (Specific timing of undergraduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.)
- You’re committed to pursuing a career in finance and accounting and curious about new technologies.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative.
- You’re proficient with analyzing large data sets (e.g. MS Excel, Power Pivot-Query-Automate, Access, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
Market Risk Model Development Associate Program
Operating under the lens of managing risk within TD Securities, TD Banking group, and with regulators, you will manage risks initiatives within Valuation at Risk, Profit & Loss, and Market Risk. Associates can anticipate completing thorough risk analysis within capital markets, completing timely reporting/dashboards, and contributing to ad-hoc projects to advance business objectives.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations

How You Will Contribute:
- Working directly with the manager of your current business rotation and MRMD business groups to continually identify issues and enhance processes across the MRMD organization.
- Executing against pre-determined timelines to deliver agreed upon deliverables.
- Identifying assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and risks.
- Reporting to management on work status, escalating as necessary to ensure that all issues are effectively resolved.
Qualifications:
- You have recently completed or are completing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or other relevant discipline. (Specific timing of undergraduate degree completion requirements may be found on the job posting.)
- You have strong financial and analytical skills.
- You have a solid understanding of capital markets and treasury products as well as the inherent market and credit risks.
- You’re organized and can prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
TD Asset Management (TDAM) Associate Program
This program provides on-the-job training through rotations in various departments within TDAM and involves taking on assignments in key departments including risk management, business strategies, product management, research, trading, and distribution.
You’ll also have the opportunity to complete complex financial analyses on client portfolios, companies, and industries, as well as analyze quantitative models and trading strategies, and learn aspects of the portfolio management, trading, and settlement process.
Rotations: Four 6-month rotations
