Corporate Credit is our team of in-house credit origination, structuring and risk assessment professionals. As credit products are an integral part of our institutional client initiatives, the Corporate Credit group works closely with the Investment Banking and Sales and Trading teams to offer a complete financing strategy. Our credit team is involved in the origination of business, and responsible for the risk assessment and ongoing monitoring of these credit transactions.
Your Career as a Corporate Credit Associate
- Involved with the structuring of new credit, client presentations and preparation of credit applications
- Provide support related to client development, risk assessment and transaction execution
- Opportunities to gain exposure to various industries, products and client groups
How You Will Contribute
- Assist with the development of financial solutions for clients, including review and comment on credit facility term sheets and timely completion of client presentations
- Assist Loan Syndications in preparing marketing materials for new deals and providing information to other lenders in the syndicate
- Prepare and recommend credit submissions including annual and interim client reviews
- Conduct appropriate market, industry and client research and risk analysis in support of the credit development and credit submission processes where appropriate
- Provide credit support to internal business partners including TD Securities trading functions, cash management and Trade Finance teams which require credit to operate
- Work closely with Investment Banking, and other product groups, including Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Derivatives, Cash Management and Foreign Exchange to ensure that cross sell opportunities are being developed and captured

The Global Counterparty Credit group is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with credit policies established by the Bank for the management of derivative credit exposures. Through strategic, tactical and risk-oriented teams of professionals, Global Counterparty Credit delivers the highest quality service and expertise to its stakeholders.
Your Career as a Global Counterparty Credit Associate
The Counterparty Credit Associate is part of our team of in-house credit professionals that works closely with the organization’s Sales and Trading team. The Counterparty Credit Associate will gain experience across a wide variety of Financial Institution, Corporate, Institutional and Sovereign clients. The Counterparty Credit team is involved with the origination process for the trading business and is responsible for the credit analysis and recommendation of credit/derivative facilities enabling the various trading businesses/desks to transact with counterparties, as well as ad-hoc reporting and monitoring of the credit risk profile of TD Securities’ clients that are users of a wide variety of capital market trading products including:

Operations Leadership Associate Program
Operations Leadership Associate Program
TD Operations provides critical infrastructure services supporting the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities. The associate program allows the candidate a wide exposure to different areas of Operations and related groups.
The Operations Leadership Associate program is a 2 year rotational program consisting of three 8-month rotations leading to a full-time role within Operations.
Each of the three rotations has a distinct theme and focuses on building specialized skills, as per below. Responsibilities in each rotation will include:
1st Rotation: Operational Knowledge
- Complete transaction processing or other processing activities
- Process transactions accurately and on time
- Escalate processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained
- Serve clients as required – adhere to Service Level Agreements and internal service delivery standards. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, support process improvement initiatives
- Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
- Follow firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm, or clients
- Escalate non-standard or high risk transactions or other activities as appropriate
- Ensure documentation prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects client / business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations
- Complete investigations – report / escalate risk issues identified or process gaps
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery
